“Star Fox Guard” is a tower defense game co-developed by the popular Nintendo game company along with Platinum for the Wii U console. The gameplay is similar to other games of the same genre, in which the player must defend the different bases, owned by Slippy Toad’s uncle, Grippy, together build a defense system to protect their base from intruders who are invading inside by surveillance via security cameras. On the TV screen will show footage from all the security cameras available while on the Wii U GamePad screen there is also a view from above of the base. To protect the base of the base, players will have to carefully monitor the screen for any upcoming attacker and transfer control to one of the available cameras to fire its weapons. Enemies are divided into two classes including combat robots, all of which must be defeated in order to progress and Chaos robots, which hinder the player by tampering with the cameras, such as obscuring the view or showing the footage. The game features 100 missions and an editor mode that allows players to edit the behavior of enemies in levels and share them online.
